I think it’s fair to call the Khaite Benny Belt the OG Statement belt of the last 12-18 months (there are more options like this, see below!). I remember seeing it for the first time on Courtney Grow and immediately wanting it.
But the price tag on the Benny is hefty and I thought to myself, I can never spend $500 on a belt! I searched desperately for alternatives before DIY-ing a version. I wore my knock-off version enough to finally pull the trigger on the real-deal before realizing it was sold out everywhere.
Luckily I found one on Vestiaire Collective and bit the bullet. Naturally Khaite has restocked the belt in most colorways and sizes including several variations without studs.

Important note: there are two sizing iterations of the belt. The first iteration had alpha sizing of XS/S and M/L and then they transitioned sizing to length measured in CM (70, 75, 80, 85, 90)*
I am normally a size US 2 and I bought the belt in a size 80 thinking that it would give me the length to be able to tuck the belt into itself like Courtney Grow had done. However the tip of the belt fits right into my first loop.
So, needless to say, pay attention to the size guide on the Khaite website.
When I got the belt I was impressed with it’s weight. The belt is borderline heavy so it pairs best with denim or cinched at your natural waist.
I was initially scared to use it because I didn’t want to ruin the studs but, as I *tried* to capture here, there are minor scratches on the studs that aren’t noticeable at all.
The truth is that I love and adore this belt. It’s my most worn item in my closet according to my digital wardrobe tracker. When I search through answers on the substack chat, other owners of the belt agree that it’s the perfect belt to elevate an every day look.
However, there are plenty of people who recommend other belts as alternatives for the Benny Belt;
So here’s a little round up of other statement belt options for you;

But if it’s Benny or bust, Cettire has a few sizes left at just over $400. My feedback from Cettire is that the site is totally legit but returning is nearly impossible so it’s best to be 100% sure before purchasing.

I have a similar studded belt from Dylan Kain and wear it a lot as well according to my outfit tracker!
Lisa Says Gah has a perfect iteration of the Benny for $100!
